Diesel Mechanic & General Maintenance

Responsibilities:
- Create maintenance schedules for all equipment, to include heavy machinery and diesel forklifts
- Diesel engine knowledge, forklift repair and maintenance
- Boiler and pressure vessel knowledge or willing to learn
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair material handling and lumber milling equipment.
- Capable of ordering and inventory of parts
- Maximize equipment operation by creating and scheduling preventative maintenance
- Install necessary appliances and equipment as needed
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Maintain grounds, including garden and yard upkeep, trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc.
- Perform necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, etc.
- Complete regular maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker or other similar position, preferably in a corporate setting
- Mechanically inclined, ability to troubleshoot various equipment/machines
- Basic working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Experience working with tools, including hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings
- Passion for creative problem solving
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Long periods of standing and walking
- Stooping, kneeling and crouching when repairing or maintaining equipment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs
